These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat , chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Ignite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time. (2:Sam 23:8)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (Eph 6:10)
Mission and Purpose Statement
The Mighty Men of Canaan‘s ministry objective is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to glorify God the Father.
They desire to spread the Gospel to the world and teach male believers how to grow in faith; to promote Prayer, Church school and Bible study; to lend strong support to the Pastoral Ministry and the total mission of The Canaan Baptist Church and to mentor boys and young adult men.
Meetings
The Mighty Men of Canaan will meet on the second Friday of the Month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Canaan Baptist Church. (Ages sixteen and above)
