There are over 65 million people between the ages of 18 - 45 in the U.S. with energy, ideas, creativity, and passion.
It must be the priority of the Church to empower this generation to use their gifts for the benefit of people and the purposes of God. We believe there is a dynamic opportunity for young adult ministry in your area, regardless of time or location. It is our goal to provide the resource necessary to unlock the potential in your life, church, and community.
REAL
In a day when superficiality is the norm, we will be authentic and genuine.
RELEVANT
We will provide resources that contribute to personal and spiritual growth in everyday life.
RELATIONAL
Through authentic love and unconditional acceptance we will help people develop deep relationships.
REVOLUTIONARY
We will do whatever it takes to reach people with the gospel, no matter how revolutionary we must be.
Together, we can make a difference
The Young Adult Ministry consists of college students, singles, married, or with children, between the ages of 18-45. The function of this ministry is to promote the growth and development of the young adult members in support of the work of Canaan Baptist Church. The Young Adult Ministry’s monthly meetings will be held on the first Wednesday at Canaan Baptist Church from 7pm- 9pm. The monthly meeting will include an Order of Business and Program.
Please remember our Young Adults who are Away-in-School: Bro. Laney Moore (Montgomery), Dakari Richardson, Khyree Harper, Charles Somerville, Jaillyn Thomasson and Zuriel (Shabach ) Holmes. Also away serving Our Country – Asia Phillips- Navy, Byron Findley – Army.
